- Regional representation
- To assist in the establishment
of national institutes or associations for
project management in the Asia-Pacific region.
The ultimate goal is that all nations in
the Asia-Pacific region have established
representative institutes/associations which
participate in the APFPM.
- 1.2 To support the growth
and development of participating national
institutes/associations.
- 1.3 To establish reciprocal
agreement for the recognition and transfer
of national certification programs.
- 1.4 To share knowledge
and a general framework for Organisational
Audit Processes, Competency Standards and
a Body of Knowledge for the region. The
framework will be aimed at the individual,
organisational and professional level and
be generic with options which will be relevant
to participating national institutes/associations.
- Reciprocity
- The APFPM is committed to the establishment
of reciprocal recognition of membership
and certification programs between member
associations/institutes.
- Collaboration
- The APFPM is committed to sharing and
providing the resources of participating
national institutes to further the objectives
of the APFPM.
